Former Bigg Boss contestant Mandana Karimi who married businessman Gaurav Gupta amidst much fanfare has now filed a case of domestic violence against him.
According to a report in Mid Day, Mandana Karimi is asking for a maintenance to the extent of Rs 10 lakh per month for her basic needs, necessities and requirements apart from a compensation of Rs 2 crore for the trauma and agony caused, and losses owing to her career and business.

In an interview to Mid Day, Mandana Karimi said that she was thrown out of her husband’s house seven weeks ago.
“I was thrown out of my matrimonial house seven weeks ago. I made desperate attempts to reconcile with them, but my in-laws didn’t allow me back. Gaurav has cut me off.”

Mandana Karimi also mentioned in her petition that she was forced to convert to Hinduism before her wedding to Gaurav Gupta. It is unclear why she chose to marry Gaurav Gupta despite already pressure of conversion to Hinduism.
Mandana Karimi has done movies like Kyaa Kool Hai Hum 3 and Main Aur Charles but Gupta’s family was unimpressed and wanted her to not act in the movies.
