KRK unhappy with Salman Khan’s Sultan trailer

KRK, Sultan, Salman Khan, trailer, copy

New Delhi, May 1, 2016: KRK, is not the one to hold back his words; he is hated for speaking his mind and he is also loved by his fans for the very same reasons. But it goes to the credit of KRK that he knows his stuff and researches hard.

True to the form KRK tweeted that:

“If great director Ali Abbas Zafar is making a teaser also frame to frame copy, then just imagine how good film will be ? Lol!”

Now, today the second teaser of Sultan was released which showed Anushka Sharma in a never seen avatar as a wrestler doing dhobi pachad in style.

The adulation that Anushka Sharma and Salman Khan can be gauged from the fact that Sultan is trending for the entire day on Social Media!

KRK after this tweet was ridiculed by several of Salman Khan fans:

But KRK had done his homework well and has proved that he has good knowledge of the subject. The second trailer seems, to put it most charitably as per the standards of Bollywood, to be influenced by an advertisement by JSW Steel which told the story of Geeta Phogat!

The description of the advertisement reads: “Geeta Phogat (the first Indian woman to win a gold medal in Wrestling at the Commonwealth Games). Geeta comes from a conservative and patriarchal village, Balali in Haryana where wrestling was always considered a man’s sport. The film is a depiction of her journey and how she overcame societal norms, busted several myths, fought resistance from her whole community and wrestled her way to success, all because she had the inner strength and the will of steel to achieve her dreams.”

Do check the second teaser of the Sultan here and see it properly.
