One of his premier works is the modernization of the New Delhi Executive Lounge. Suresh Prabhu revealed today that the lounge was fitted with modern facilities, which matched international standards. Now, travelers who wish to stay in the Executive Lounge will avail the benefits of fast Wifi, television, recliners, fully air-conditioned Dining and Seating Rooms. It definitely sounds luxurious, and we even have the pictures to prove it.
The pictures truly resemble a luxurious place with the highest standards of quality and cleanliness, which the minister has been focusing on as a part of the Narendra Modi-inspired Swachh Bharat Mission. For facilities like this, the customers wouldn’t mind shelling out some more.
Suresh Prabhu is also working to improve the amenities for the common man. In a first, he is focusing on cleaning the railway platforms all across India, pushing for punctuality, ensuring safety and security of travelers, particularly women, and rolling out more trains – some faster – to cater to the rising demand. Trial runs of the Spanish Talgo train is one such initiative which aims to reduce the travel time by bringing in faster trains from abroad.
With a minister as dedicated as him, India is confident that the status will only improve from here on. India can hopefully look for a better future till he is at the helm!
