Janipur, June 15, 2016: Jammu was simmering with anger after a CCTV grab that showed two men desecrating a prominent Hindu Temple went viral.
The Temple in question is Aapshambhu Temple and an angry Hindu community went out on streets to protest against the desecration allegedly done by a person from the Doda area.

What made the matters worse was the allegation that the person who went to complaint against the desecration of the Hindu Temple, was abused and manhandled by the police.
Angry mob then went on to streets demanding justice and started pelting stones and burned down vehicles. Two old buses, two old cars and one scooter was burnt down while traffic signals were also attacked.
Tear gas and heavy lathicharge was used by the police to control the mob.
