For protecting the innocence of its children, Bangladesh government is taking strict steps.

Eid-ul-Azha in Bangladesh sees mass slaughter and often has children participating in them as they are pushed by their parents.

The decision to this effect was taken by the Local Government Division (LGD) of Bangladesh which also marked 6,233 places where the celebration of the Muslim festival in Bangladesh would take place.

Not just that, for the celebration of Eid-ul-Azha in Bangladesh, the government has issued strict instructions that the body parts of the slaughtered animals must be disposed off quickly and effectively.

4, 855 Imams and 12, 638 butchers have been shortlisted for the celebration of Eid-ul-Azha in Bangladesh.

In Bangladesh, the instructions for not allowing children to participate in slaughtering during Eid-ul-Azha were already in place but now the government has decided to enforce it rigorously as radicalism spread.

As per The Daily Star, the meeting took place at the Bangladesh Secretariat.

What is also heartening is that the move was okayed in a meeting, thrown by Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Khandker Mosharraf Hossain, that had the participation of mayors, acting mayors, other officials, and members of Islamic foundation.

In short, the move has the blessings of top clerics as well which should make the job of the government easier. Bangladesh is trying to curb the growing radicalism that is affecting a large part of its Muslim population which has turned against the minorities. This step is one of the several that the government is taking to arrest radicalism that sees the participation of its local population.
